Born in Guangzhou and raised in the United States, Jenny is a designer and artist in Saint Louis. She attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis for her Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in design, while pursuing her Art History Minor and Certificate in Photographic Studies. Her deep appreciation of informational visuals and communication design sparked her interest in storytelling, which allows her to convey messages through illustration and design. She is keen on visual thinking, and she enjoys risk-taking and problem-solving to get meaningful results.
As the digital world continues to progress, she is still able to express herself through traditional art. The darkroom is one of her favorite places to be, where she enjoys using old film developing techniques to process photos. She also enjoys painting, digital photography, hand-lettering, crocheting, and a variety of crafty projects.
Aside from art and design, she is passionate about traveling, the little details in nature, and spreading the love to the people around her. She eats mangos and drinks root beer floats affectionately, and frequently rocks out at concerts or on her guitar. This rocker and thrill-seeker also suffers from serious wanderlust and goes crazy over hula hoops. Watch out, world.
